From installation
to your first demo test.
From download to your first demo test: install V9 and load your selected risk profile and sizing file.
Symbol, timeframe and broker requirements are listed in the private delivery instructions. Start on demo.
Prepare MetaTrader
Open the desktop version of MetaTrader 5 and sign in to a demo account first. Check that you are using the correct installation and account. Keep Algo Trading switched off during setup.
Install the bot file
In MetaTrader, choose File > Open Data Folder. Open MQL5 > Experts and copy the .ex5 file into that folder. The compiled .ex5 file does not need to be compiled again.

Find V9 in the Navigator
Restart MetaTrader after copying the file. Open View > Navigator. V9 should appear under Expert Advisors. If it is missing, check the data folder of this specific installation.
Attach V9 to the chart
Open the chart using the symbol and timeframe specified in your private delivery instructions. Drag V9 from the Navigator onto that chart. A chart can run only one Expert Advisor.
Load your preset
Open Inputs > Load. In Presets, open a purchased risk profile and choose the file ending in _20, _50 or _100 for the desired sizing percentage. Load only one file per bot instance. For older purchases, use the supplied V9_Originalpreset.set.

Start on a demo account
Check the account, chart and preset first. Then allow Algo Trading both for V9 and with the global MetaTrader button. The global button affects all Expert Advisors in that installation. Do not enable extra permissions unless your delivery instructions specifically require them.
Check operation
Check the bot name on the chart and the messages in Experts and Journal. Starting the bot does not mean it will trade immediately. For continuous local operation, MetaTrader, your computer and the connection must remain active; sleep mode interrupts operation.

Your selected presets
Low, medium and high are relative position-size profiles, not loss limits. Each purchased profile includes 20%, 50% and 100% sizing files. Sizing scales with current equity; broker lot limits and margin affect execution. Test on demo. Published backtests do not validate every new sizing combination.
Pausing the bot
Switching off Algo Trading prevents new automated trading actions. Existing positions are not closed automatically, and their automated management may stop too. Check open positions separately in the trading window.
V9 does not appear
Check the file extension, make sure the ZIP is extracted and verify the MQL5 > Experts folder. Then restart MetaTrader.
V9 does not trade
Check the connection, account permissions and both Algo Trading settings. Read the Experts and Journal messages. Do not change internal settings simply to force a trade.
The preset or file is rejected
Use only the files supplied with the package. Send support the exact error message and product version. Never send passwords or account credentials.

Computer or VPS
MT5 and V9 must stay running and connected. A smartphone or the MT5 web terminal cannot run this EX5 bot. For local use, disable sleep during operation. Alternatively set up a Windows VPS with MT5 or migrate the configured chart and EA to MetaTrader virtual hosting. Rental is separate from this purchase. Verify the VPS logs after setup and after every preset change. Do not run the same account locally and on the VPS at the same time.
Changing FTMO phases
The licence permits one active account. Transfers within the same FTMO 2-Step process to your own Verification and subsequent FTMO Account are included. Stop V9 on the old terminal/VPS and check open positions first. Sign in to the successor account with FTMO-provided credentials, check the account, symbol, sizing and permissions, then configure the bot and VPS again. Do not assume virtual hosting switches accounts automatically. The unchanged bot has no additional shop activation mechanism; the licence restriction is contractual.
Check the account rules
V9 is intended for the FTMO 2-Step MT5 workflow. This does not guarantee that any preset meets every current account rule, passes a phase or receives an account. Check the current FTMO terms, loss limits and third-party EA rules before use. V9 is independent of FTMO.
FTMO 2-STEP · ACCOUNT CHANGE
Passed a phase? Keep your licence.
For your own successor account within the same FTMO 2-Step process, no new V9 purchase is required. The current version requires no separate shop activation or account-number approval.
- Wait for FTMO to confirm the next phase and provide the new account credentials.
- Stop V9 on the old account, including any VPS copy. Check any open positions separately: stopping the bot does not close them.
- Log into the new account and the correct broker server in MT5. Check account currency, equity and available instruments; do not assume the old account settings still match.
- Attach V9 and load your purchased risk preset with the desired sizing file. Check trading permissions and the current FTMO rules for the new phase before starting.
- If using a VPS, update its account and setup too, then check its journal. Run only one instance on the licensed account; keep the previous instance stopped.
